Law Enforcement Fitness Test

TRAIN FOR THE TEST. PREPARE FOR THE CAREER.

Passing a law enforcement fitness test takes more than simply being in shape. Your training should prepare you for the exact physical demands you’ll be tested on.

Morris Training Co. provides structured fitness-test preparation for law enforcement candidates, with training designed around the running, push-ups, sit-ups, agility, and other physical standards required by your specific test.

OUR APPROACH: TEST-SPECIFIC. PROGRESSIVE. PURPOSEFUL.

Law enforcement fitness preparation should focus on what you actually need to do on test day. Instead of random workouts, your training is structured around improving the specific components of your physical fitness test.

Training may include:

• Running endurance and pacing for timed distance runs

• Push-up strength and muscular endurance

• Sit-up and core endurance

• Sprinting, agility, or other test-specific conditioning when required

• Mobility, stability, and supporting exercises designed to help you tolerate your training workload

• Progressive practice of the movements and standards you’ll encounter on test day

Your program is designed to progressively prepare you for your required standards while giving your body time to adapt throughout the training process.

Who It's For

Law enforcement fitness training is designed for:

• Police academy applicants preparing for an entrance or academy fitness test

• Sheriff and deputy candidates preparing for physical fitness requirements

• Corrections applicants preparing for agency fitness standards

• Candidates preparing for state, academy, or department-specific physical fitness testing

• Applicants who know their required standards but need a structured plan to reach them

• Candidates who want to arrive at the academy physically prepared — not simply capable of scraping by the minimum standard

Whether you’re starting below the required standard or already passing and want to build a larger margin for success, the goal is the same: train specifically for what you’ll be expected to do.
